In a fully modular kitchen, a civil skirting is provided first for the base units. Then, the individual cabinet boxes are installed, and finally, the countertop is securely placed on top to complete the elegant and functional setup.
In a semi-modular kitchen, the countertop is usually pre-installed as per the builder’s design. Vertical plywood supports are added to install the tandem drawers and fittings. Unlike modular kitchens, there is no skirting provided in this setup.
